Tiger Woods

Although his life on the green seemed vibrant, he was in a much more serious tailspin in his personal life. Woods took a hiatus from golf in 2009 in order to tend to his family. Woods’ personal life seemed to take a turn for the worse, as media outlets were hit by reports of potential separation from his wife Elin Nordegren. The rumored $750 million deal reportedly included investment properties in Sweden and the family home in California for Nordegren.

Eventually, the veteran golfer found his game clicking into place again following a series of controversies. In 2018, Tiger Woods returned to golf and proved that thanks to his victory at the 2019 Masters, his 15th major title, he can still play at the top of the game. This year, he will be inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame.
