JAMES LIPTON

Louis James Lipton is an American writer, lyricist, actor and honorary dean at the Actor Studio Drama School of Pace University in New York. He is the executive producer, writer and host of the Bravo cable TV series “Actor’s Studio” which premiered in 1994. James Lipton has one of the inspiring stories. While he was a student, he did not apply for a student loan; instead, he pursued his acting career to fund his studies.

Thankfully, Lipton is very successful in his chosen profession and studies. He is considered to be the brain of some of the famous soap operas in Hollywood, such as Capitol, Another World, The Edge of Night and Return to Peyton Place. Given all of his achievements on- and off-cam, Lipton is also a certified pilot. As of 2013, he already flew more than 1,000 hours of flight time.
