iv Johanne Ullmann is a Norwegian actress and film director. Recognized as one of the greatest European actresses, Ullmann is known as the muse and frequent partner of filmmaker Ingmar Bergman. Norweigan best actress from the 1971 movie, The Emigrants, Liv Ullmann, lived to be one of the most prominent actresses and directors in the industry. She received a number of nominations for her acting performances, including her stints in Scenes from a Marriage and Face to Face.

In addition to her acting and directing skills, she is also an advocate of various organizations that help women and children. One of her notable achievements outside the industry was her role as Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF. In 2005, she received an honorary degree from the Norweigan University of Science and Technology, a doctorate in philosophy as well as the Order of St. Olav by King Harald V.
