Ted Lange is an actor, director, and screenwriter, who was best known for his bartender role in the 1970s hit TV series, Love Boat. His prominence as a star started in his portrayal of Isaac Washington in the show and is probably his most notable character throughout his career. There was also a time when he focused more as a director and screenwriter, which earned him a total of 17 stage directing credits, including for his works on George Washington’s Boy and the classic comic play, Lemon Meringue Facade.

He was also fortunate to be given a chance to direct a few episodes of Love Boat in the ’70s. This favorite bartender was last seen on screen in an episode of Maron in 2014, and for his most recent directing project, he directed two episodes of The First Family in 2012.
