Clint Eastwood |Carmel, California | $5 million
“There’s a rebel lying deep in my soul” is a quote commonly associated with Clint Eastwood, and true enough, his life in Hollywood has been, to some degree, rebellious. He became famous for his many action movies and anti-hero starring roles, earning him four of the many nominations throughout his career. He also received four Golden Globe Awards, an FLI Life Achievement Award, and three Cesar Awards.
Clint’s style and character also shine through his choice of residence. Instead of living in an urban setting and having easy access to luxury, he chose to live on a California ranch. When he repurchased the estate in 1986 for $5 million, it only had destitute buildings. He has since renovated The Mission Ranch and transformed it into something more to his tastes. He also poured in millions for the work to be done, but he is generally satisfied with it.
