An Academy Award is, without a doubt, the most coveted award in Hollywood to date. I bet every single actor has fantasized about the time when their names would follow the words “and the Oscar goes to…” It probably happened to Jennifer Lawrence too. Although she did end up taking home the Oscar, Jen’s big moment probably unfolded a little differently in her head. The moment in question happened during the 2013 Oscars when Jennifer Lawrence won her first Academy for her role in the film Silver Linings Playbook.
It was surely a moment to remember for two reasons: one being that it was Jen’s first Academy win, and second because just moments before getting her hands on her trophy, she tripped on her Dior dress and fell on the stairs. We admire her grace and humor in handling the whole situation, though, but who knew that her Dior investment would cause her such a moment!
