The late Chadwick Boseman has left his family in a difficult situation after finding out that the Black Panther left no will to his name. Today, Boseman has a $939,000 property tied to his name in Los Angeles County. His widow, Simone Ledward, has sought legal help from an attorney to be appointed as the estate’s administrator and rightful owner.

Boseman isn’t the first celebrity to pass on without making any plans for his estate at the time of his passing. His wife isn’t necessarily entitled to the whole estate, however. They are simply known as probate, or the due process of administering ownership of one’s estate after their passing. Exceptional cases like the one with Ledward right now require legal intervention from the court for it to be dismissed. Hopefully, things will fall into place soon as it would a shame to lose a lovely property like this.
